Frequently asked questions
What happens when the target date has passed?
Days remaining becomes negative and the status reads 'In the past', with the weeks-and-days figure followed by 'ago' — so an event 8 days back shows −8 days and '1 week and 1 day ago'.
Does the count include the target day itself?
It measures the gap between the two dates, so a target tomorrow is 1 day away. If you are counting down to an event day, that is the usual convention.
