Frequently asked questions
How are overnight shifts handled?
If the end time is the same as or earlier than the start time, 24 hours are added to the end, so a 10 PM to 6 AM shift correctly counts as 8 hours.
Does this calculate overtime?
No — all hours are paid at the single rate entered. For overtime, calculate the regular-hours portion here and the overtime portion separately at its own rate.
